Our client, a Logistics company, that has been ranked as a top place to work in Dallas, is seeking an Integrations Developer with 2-4 years of experience with EDI X12 and SQL. This position has a hybrid work schedule.
Strategy & Planning
Participate in design and review of new applications and integration strategies of EDI systems.
Provide integration environment technical knowledge and experience during the planning, execution, and management of integrating new applications into the existing application environment.
Identify and resolve systems issues.
Develop standards and processes to support and facilitate integration projects and initiatives.
Identify common patterns and document best practices for integration.
Ensure that integration projects meet business requirements and goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues.
Develop standards and processes to support and facilitate integration projects and initiatives.
Maintain high standards of data quality through the introduction and enforcement of information handling processes and organization of the DI processes.
Coordinate with network engineering, business application, and database administration function to ensure availability, reliability, and scalability of EDI systems to meet business demands.
Acquisition & Implementation
Continually develop skills in the integration technologies in place in the AI environment, as well as staying informed on new developments in integration technology.
Conduct research on EDI-related hardware and software in support of procurement and system development efforts.
Operational Management
Assist with identifying opportunities to enhance or improve business processes via integration, or, as necessary, minimize the impact of integration on those processes.
Where necessary, provide guidance to junior members of the team.
Work diligently to enhance or improve business processes via integration, or, as necessary, minimize the impact of integration on those processes.
Lead transitions of EDI systems to next-generation environments and/or cross-functional business systems.
Perform system configuration, mapping, and management for EDI-based transactions and processes.
Define and perform EDI system backups and recovery procedures.
Monitor and test system performance and provide performance statistics and reports.
Compare compatibility of EDI-related products to company systems and make recommendations.
Install, coordinate, and troubleshoot EDI-related products.
Perform data audits and quality control measures.
Recommend and execute modifications to EDI systems in order to improve efficiency, reliability, and performance.
Develop and maintain EDI process documentation.
Requirements:
Four-year college diploma or university degree in computer science or computer engineering, and/or 4+ years equivalent work experience.
2-4 years of EDI X12 experience installing, configuring, and maintaining EDI systems.
Knowledge of EDI standard formats (ANSI X12, EDIFACT, etc.) and EDI translators, preferably Liaison Delta ECS
2-4 years of SQL Experience
Proven experience in overseeing the linking of cross-functional databases between disparate business units and systems.
Working technical knowledge of coding using SQL, JavaScript, Python.
Extensive application support experience.
Familiarity with Internet protocols and Web development tools, including TCP, IP, SMTP, FTP, SFTP, HTTP, HTTPS.
Hands-on hardware and software troubleshooting experience.
Strong understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
Ability to conduct research into EDI issues and products as required.
Mulesoft Experience a plus
