Process Engineer

HemoSonics, LLC

This is a Contract position in Dallas, TX posted July 29, 2021.

HemoSonics, LLC is seeking a Process Engineer who will be responsible for the process design of manufacturing operations to include instrument, reagent manufacturing, and cartridge automation.

The successful candidate will work closely with staff to determine the most appropriate process to improve efficiency, reduce cost, and improve manufacturing quality.

Key Attributes of the Successful Candidate: Demonstrated problem solving skills Excellent technical process engineering skills Strong analytical abilities Project Management expertise Strong interpersonal skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work well independently and with a team Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with staff in key functional areas such as manufacturing, scheduling, service facilities maintenance & safety.

Create, develop and oversee implementation of new and updated processes.

Create and manage process documentation and operating instructions for all products.

Investigate and troubleshoot any problems that arise with processes, procedures, and operations.

Interact with suppliers regarding the manufacturing process.

Collect data for analysis to uncover areas for improvement and innovation.

Research, design and develop processes to optimize productivity and workflow.

Collaborate with colleagues to determine cost projections, reductions and run times.

Work to minimize operating costs and keep time and budget limitations in check.

Contribute to development of health and safety standards.

Execute risk assessments.

Clearly communicate ideas and findings to management and colleagues.

Work in conjunction with all departments and customers to support new products and new.

manufacturing technology platforms in operations.

Ensure compliance within Company and industry standards.

Education and Experience Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or related field, and 3 years’ experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Operations experience required; cGMP and ISO 13485 experience preferred.

Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.

The position is based at our facility in Durham, NC and may involve travel to our HemoSonics facility in Virginia, as well as to other project-related sites as needed.
