QA Manual Tester

Paladin Consulting is currently hiring a QA Manual Tester to join our team working onsite at our client’s office located in Dallas, TX.

Job Title: QA Manual Tester
Work Location: Dallas, TX 
Duration: 1 month contract with option to extend 
Education/Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience as a Manual Tester, experience with LOS software or Banking software preferred

Job Description & Responsibilities:

  • Test mortgage loan origination software for functionality & accuracy
  • Communicate test progress, test results and other relevant information
  • Any other duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience as a Manual Tester, experience with LOS software or Banking software preferred
  • Ability to manage time and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manually translate Functional Requirement Documents into test plans, test cases, test procedures, test scripts, and expected results
  • 2+ year of experience in Software Quality Assurance preferred
  • Must have experience with XML, with ability to read and modify XML files
  • Strong experience with MS Excel
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Proven ability to write test cases/test scenarios and execute them
  • Experience with regression, unit and manual testing
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Works will with others or individuality
  • Be extremely responsible and dependable
  • Good attendance and punctuality record
  • Ability to follow written instructions and be a team player
  • Work in a high-stress environment to meet deadlines
  • Possess excellent organizational, time-management, and creative thinking skills.
  • Have good listening skills, communicate clearly and concisely internally/externally
  • Have excellent follow-thru and follow-up.
