The ideal candidate is a master of ServiceNow development working closely with the ServiceNow Administration team to implement all changes.This candidate possesses the skills and essential knowledge necessary to design, build, and customize applications and services within ServiceNow. We are looking for a technically savvy resource that can deliver new functionality and innovative solutions and be a lead contributor in the entire development life cycle.You will:* Providing insight and expertise into the ServiceNow platform capabilities and roadmap* Customize ServiceNow applications and facilitate roll out of new applications and modules and configure Application UI and Configure Workflow* Experience with implementing ServiceNow integrations (Rest API design, web services, database integrations)* Develop new enhancements and custom apps and deploy to ServiceNow Store. This will require expertise in JavaScript, Glide API, Business Rules, Workflows, Client Scripts, UI Policy, UI Actions* Transform business needs from the customer to tangible items within ServiceNow using platform modules or creating new scoped applications* Work with the client and business stakeholders to create workflows, working demos, and prototypes prior to full deployment within the ServiceNow environment* Experience operating in an agile software development and SDLC* Working closely with the ServiceNow technical team to convert requirements into design and migration steps* Communicating with technical and non-technical customers by answering questions related to ServiceNow PlatformRequirements* 5+ years of experience with ServiceNow development, including core ITSM tables, Glide, scripting, business rules, client scripts, data imports, custom apps, and development methods* Experience with implementing scripted Web services in ServiceNow, jQuery, or Prototype libraries, Java, and CMDB or asset integrations in ServiceNow* Ability to customize workflows, code Business Rules and UI Scripts using JavaScript to create custom applications and configurations on the ServiceNow platform* Solved complex business problems by engineering existing, and new algorithms* Knowledge of REST and SOAP Web services protocols* Demonstrated excellent communication skills with non-technical staff* Ability to work independently with minimal direction* ServiceNow Certification, Certified Application Developer* Customer interaction skills are necessary to gather requirements, demo and test development work.* Have a good understanding of ITIL Service Operation. Processes include, Incident, Change, Problem Management and Request Fulfillment.Desired: ITILv3 Foundations Certification
