Job Description
- Perform software design, research, development, programming, testing, and documentation for Public Safety, First Responders, telecom radio systems, applications, and/or operating systems in conjunction with equipment designers and/or hardware developers.
- Perform modeling, designing, and coding activities, employing structured methods.
- Prepare design documentation for all levels of the software development process.
- Create and execute unit, integration, system, load, and acceptance test plans and scripts.
- Use software system testing procedures and document results.
- Analyze software requirements to determine the feasibility of design within quality assurance, time, and cost constraints.
- Design & development of PTT (Push to Talk) solutions components, Mission-critical infrastructure server components, and Tactical product components and testing with the use of LMR, Broadband and ASTRO to meet the unique needs of the public safety department and first responders.
- Design & development of Dispatch console service. Design and establishment of end-to-end infrastructure deployment of microservices in docker, and ESXI with the use of virtualization and networking; AWS and Azure Cloud infrastructure deployment for Mission Critical servers, and mission critical native services deployment on distributed, Multi-Tenant, and Geo Redundant infrastructure.
- Develop tools using Big Data and Machine Learning techniques to analyze traffic flow patterns and perform anomaly detection for public safety & mission-critical telecommunication systems.
- Design and develop Broadband devices notification using Cloud Push notification services, and Broadband Devices such as IOS and Android build upgrades, and event monitoring.
- Schema design and deployments in various databases such as Distributed databases, NoSQL databases, Relations databases, and in-memory databases.
- Design & development of zero-downtime system upgrades, patch upgrades, Bug fixing, and customer interaction.
- Design of the API program where the 3rd party application developers integrate with Mission critical products.
Basic Requirements
- Masters degree + 3 years experience
