We encourage all team members to challenge and encourage themselves and their teammates to work smarter and to be more successfulSummary:Responsible for successfully supporting UNIFY Financial Credit Union’s daily business and operational requirements in the IT Infrastructure area through high systems availability, proficient systems management, peak systems performance, effective team communication, efficient process and project management.Responsibilities:Ensures appropriate standards are met with respect to assigned systems and deliverables including, but not limited to data centers, cloud infrastructure, servers, network and communications infrastructure, VoIP, call routing and voice messaging systems, mobility, active directory, and network security appliances, email messaging systems, file storage systems and Internet access.Implements formalized and documented system monitoring processes/tools, department processes, vendor support, and business continuity plans to ensure optimal performance and availability of all assigned systems per business requirements, industry best practices, integrity, and accuracy of member/team member data on all assigned systems.Maintains up-to-date inventory of production equipment, backup equipment, department supplies, hardware/software licenses and systems support contracts of all assigned systems.Plans, organizes, and controls all merger systems integration initiatives for all assigned systems through complete evaluation of integration requirements, integration testing, live integration, and post-mortem analyses.Identifies and addresses vulnerabilities of all assigned systems/deliverables and ensures all hardware/software configurations are current.Ensures all servers are compliant with security-related updates/patches according to UNIFY standards.Implements and maintains disaster recovery/business continuity plans for all assigned systems/deliverables.Employs rigid pre-production deployment testing regiment for all assigned systems/deliverables.Implements up-to-date tracking methodologies/tools for all outstanding requests, trouble-tickets, department projects, and deliverables to ensure due dates are met.Manages team member acquisitions, work schedules to ensure adequate department coverage, timesheets, job expectations, training to ensure full cross-training, projects, disciplinary actions, and performance evaluations.Establishes formalized and documented processes of communicating Credit Union business changes, project updates, deliverable status and systems issues to all levels of the organization.Plans yearly systems hardware/software/technical support budget forecasts and implements cost-savings initiatives for all assigned systems/deliverables.Evaluates, recommends, procures and implements all hardware/software equipment and technical support contract terms for all assigned systems/ deliverables.Resolves complex issues, establishes work priorities and makes actionable decisions within established organizational guidelines, budget, and/or authorities.Keeps abreast of IT Infrastructure industry trends/best practices and new hardware/software products to support all assigned systems/deliverables.Manages vendor relationships, including monitoring of performance to ensure SLAs are maintained.Ensures full compliance with UNIFY Financial Credit Union service standards, Credit Union policies and procedures, the Bank Secrecy Act and any other regulatory standards, policies and proceduresPerforms all other duties as assignedQualifications:Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree preferred with a minimum of five years related leadership experience, preferably in a financial institution with a minimum of three years of management experience.Requires thorough knowledge of computers & servers, help desk processes and tools, Internet related services, Microsoft operating systems, Networks (LAN/WAN), Voice over IP and phone systems, data storage & backup systems, physical and virtual server management, the ability to think creatively and work independently.Experience managing projects, budgeting for the organization’s IT operational and capital expenses, fostering team’s professional growth and communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing.
