VP, Business Development – Specialty Patient Hub & Affordability

This is a Full-time position in Dallas, TX posted July 28, 2021.

As growth continues through 2021, we are looking to hire a seasoned Business Development Executive to increase our ability to develop new business in major markets across the United States.

A strong network and proven success in Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals and Patient Services industries with a focus on Patient Hub Services, Copay & Affordability as well as Promotional Services or Awareness/Adherence Programs.

We are open to candidates with networks in major metropolitan areas across the United States as well as those with strong relationships more focused on the Eastern Seaboard, West Coast or Midwest.

As a Senior leader in Business Development you will manage, promote and lead sales with client executives, partners and agencies.

You will work collaboratively with Business Line Management, Sales and Sales Operations, and Senior Management to grow the business.

Essential Functions Identify, build, and maintain strong relationships with customers and prospects to drive revenue in support of monthly, quarterly, and yearly revenue targets.

Lead prospecting, up-selling, and follow-up for targeted leads.

Manage expenses to be at or below expense plan.

Optimize dollars spent by maximizing number of accounts and prospects visited on any given sales trip.

Constructs a formal business plan for ConnectiveRx Business Programs, with critical focus on sales activities targeted down to the market segment and individual customer and/or partner level.

Ensure strong ongoing integrated promotion of selected target products and services.

Meets or exceeds both qualitative and quantitative sales and revenue goals on a consistent basis through development of new prospects, assisting in qualifying leads and closing sales for ConnectiveRx programs.

Develop key metrics and analytics related to sales pipeline and prospects and regularly evaluate effectiveness of sales strategy and activities.

Oversee collection of CRM data and ensure system is up to date and accurate Knowledge Excellent working knowledge of the business development process, financial management, and marketing.

Skills Organizational and interpersonal skills are critical to this position Effective time management is essential along with the ability to multi-task.

A demonstrated keen sense of relationship building is needed.

Must be computer proficient and be detail oriented.

Education B.S.

or B.A., Business or Science.

MBA preferred.

Experience Minimum 10 years of senior level success in Sales, Sales Support, Sales Management, and/or Product Management in Patient Hub Services, Copay & Affordability or Promotional Services (Awareness/Adherence Programs) Core Competencies Business Acumen; Strategic Thinking; Problem Solving/Analysis; Financial Management; Customer/Client Focus; Communication Proficiency; Time Management.
