Accounts Receivable Collections Clerk

This is a Full-time position in Austin, TX posted August 21, 2022.

SUMMARY: The Accounts Receivable Collections Clerk is responsible for collecting payments from clients in an accurate and timely manner.

With time, this individual will have the opportunity to interact in many aspects of the finance department.

Applicant must possess a high attention to detail, be able to work independently and work well with the current department team.

Applicant must have knowledge of general accounting principles and 1-2 years accounts receivable experience to be considered.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Collect payments from clients.

Conduct intercompany collections.

Send out bill reminders, customer statements and work with agents, customers, move coordinators and national accounts to resolve invoicing issues.

Utilize internal software, NetSuite ERP.

Protect organizations values by keeping information confidential.

Other duties as assigned by Manager.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma required.

2-4 Year college degree preferred.

12 years of AR collections experience.

General accounting experience desirable.

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Ability to navigate multiple applications and systems.

Great attention to detail.

Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.

Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.

This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 25 pounds.

Ability to sit for long periods; stand and walk frequently; and bend, stoop, and reach occasionally.
