CP has an exciting Industrial Technical Sales Engineering opportunity to drive substantial growth in the Western Region.

Your roles and responsibilities will vary from Customer Consultation which includes: Supporting National Contract Sales Representatives and Developing Relationships with Key Regional Industrial Distribution Partners.

In addition, up to 50% of travel within territory.

Regional Distribution PartnersManage the B2B channel in your assigned region making our products & services available to end users.Monitor and develop sales performance of the existing distribution partners and set up new partners.Develop distribution partners’ staff by providing technical information and training on company products and applications.Organize with distribution partner’s joint calls at large end-users to recommend CP solutions, promote new products, maximize customer total value of ownership, solve problems, or evaluate future product’s needs.National Contract Sales Representative/s (NCSR)Assist NCSR in developing the industrial sales and promoting CP to regional and national distribution partners and during joint visits to the end-users.Partner with the NCSR on large opportunities with key end users to provide technical support and build out solutions that will drive efficiency for the end user and profitable growth for CP.End-UsersIdentify and prospect for high potential end-users in the territory relative to CP industrial market segments focus and strategy.Develop, maintain, and secure strong business relationships with end-users in the territory.Prepares and share within the CP organization any sales engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information and engineering and application trends.

Education:University degree or equivalent work experience (total of 5 years work experience managing industrial distributors and industrial products).

Experience:5 years’ experience managing industrial distributors and industiral products focused on fastening and/or material removal processes.

.The successful candidate will have demonstrated the following experience:Proven record of accomplishment in industrial successStrong Commerical presence with direct impact on business growthWorking with a contract sales force and key end users with CP ToolsCoaching, mentoring, influencing, and providing guidance to a national contract sales representative/s Skills:Ability to present, negotiate, and close deals at a local, mid management and execuitive level with distributors and end users.Technical Capability to utilize telecommunication software (Zoom, Teams, Drift) to host virtual meetings, provide online training, conduct virtual product demonstrations, and chat live online with customers.Ability to motivate, review pipeline opportunites, create a strategy plan of action and develop an effective cadence of communication with regional rep sales force including:Developing and maintaining relationshipsProduct technical supportCustomer application supportManaging and closing large opportuntiesManaging demo tools to contract sales force and end usersManaging key strategic distributor accounts Travel:Up to or at times exceeding 50% overnight travel throughout North America.

Must have valid driver’s license without restrictions.
