Role PurposeAs Head of Manufacturing Value Stream
– Blood Glucose Test Strips, you will oversee the mass scale and highly automated manufacturing operation for blood glucose test strips.This includes the leadership of three groups with in total more than 250 operations and maintenance colleagues.
You will be a member of the Diabetes Care internal Manufacturing Indianapolis Leadership Team and report to the Head of Manufacturing IndianapolisResponsibilities:Responsible for the short and long term success of your area of responsibility.Secure the planning, implement and follow up on measures and processes to meet quality, volume and cost targets for your area of responsibility.Compliance with standards and procedures.Contribute to business, social and environmental sustainability targets.Focus on further developing the operations and maintenance teams as well as the manufacturing facilities and processes for your area of responsibility.
Carry out special projects and initiatives to drive overall success and future development of the manufacturing organization.Define and fulfill the short and long term resource needs.Establish and improve best practices and thought leadership.

Qualifications, Competencies & Experiences:Bachelor degree in relevant area of study.
