Amwins is looking for a Senior Marketing Broker for their Dallas, TX office.

This position will work with external retail agents and other internal brokers, in conjunction with insureds to put together submission packets, review coverage needs, market submissions to Underwriters and make final recommendations to the clients for coverage.The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of sales and planning.

They will also be able to demonstrate time management as well as organizational, advanced customer service and critical thinking skills.

They will not only be self-directed and motivated to learn the job, but also continually seek out better ways of getting the job done.The Senior Marketing Broker manages day-to-day servicing of the Broker’s accounts, develops business relationships with retail producers and markets.

They may negotiate with underwriters regarding acquisitions, maintain the account diary system, verify accuracy of insurance documentation, and perform other duties as assigned to manage an account for the policy term.Senior Marketing Broker Duties:Determine coverage needs and develop proposalsReceive and respond to calls/requests concerning problems, delays, discrepancies, etc.

and provide resolution so that all parties are satisfiedWork with retail agents and markets to customize insurance programsMaintain solid business relationships with producers and underwriters while developing new relationships with agent/agenciesResearch and answer questions from carriers and producersAssist Broker in client meetings, as requestedMarketing preparation and presentationRequest endorsements from carriers along with estimation of expected premium changes and review those endorsements/changes for accuracyOversee diary for receipt of expected insurance documents (policies, endorsements, loss control compliance, etc.)Manage accounting and premium finance activitiesObtain compliance for any carrier subjectivities (signed forms, TRIA, etc.)Understand home state and surplus lines tax requirements for home state and the required stamping for surplus lines complianceCreate the market schematic for following and/or excess carriers (without premium/rates, etc.)Create loss summaries and loss analysis exhibitsPerform other duties as assignedSenior Marketing Broker Requirements:A broad knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures related to field/area of work, typically acquired through a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and at least 5 years of job related experience in commercial property insuranceUnderstand Carrier Non-Renewal NoticesBroadly understands property insurance coveragesAbility to interact and develop relationships at all levels both internally and externallyProficient computer knowledge including, but not limited to, all aspects of Microsoft OfficeEffective negotiating skillsLicensed within 90 days of hireTravel when necessaryTo the qualified candidate we offer:Compensation includes competitive salary plus an industry-leading bonus planFull benefit package including: Medical, Dental, Life, Disability and 401(k)Collaborative, continuing education focused work environmentOpportunity for advancementOpportunity for formal sales and leadership trainingGenerous Paid Time Off (PTO) with Vacation and Personal daysPhysical Demands and Special Circumstances(The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
