Chief Marketing Officer Selling a Paradigm Shift WHO WE ARE At Dormzi, we’re changing the way young people approach the job market.

With gamified skill set trees, we help young people identify their abilities, gain certifications needed to demonstrate skill, sell their services, and find meaningful apprenticeships.

WHAT YOU’LL DO We are seeking an accomplished, confident CMO to direct many simultaneous marketing campaigns as our company experiences a significant conceptual pivot.

Our ideal CMO is an innovator, trendsetter, and progressive thinker who can connect strategic marketing opportunities to all other aspects of the business and drive growth.

They will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing product and brand marketing initiatives for multiple double-sided marketplaces.

Additionally, our ideal candidate will work closely with our creative and technical teams to research, design, prototype and advocate for features on our product roadmap.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Participate in key leadership discussions around short-, mid-, and long-term strategies as well as quarterly and annual goal planning to grow people, products, and processes Plan, execute, and deliver projects according to proposed schedules and budget guidelines that you’re passionate about creating and advocating for Implement your vision for tools and processes to manage creative, strategic, content, and marketing teams Oversee the cross disciplinary roles inside of the Marketing discipline of Content, Advertising, Growth, Analytics, and Ecommerce Gather high level requirements from marketing insights, user input, business leadership and other data analysis, to be integrated into our product roadmap features to grow MRR Manage Dormzi’s internal and external marketing teams, aligning their efforts towards high-ROI opportunities.

Ensure all marketing efforts serve to achieve immediate and long-term business goals, identifying and executing improvements for processes, content and lead generation.

Oversee the company’s creative marketing campaigns, including: ideating, wireframing, mock-ups, prototyping and executing.

Collaborate with leadership to build Product partnerships in the marketing sphere.

Lead the design and execution of A/B tests, market research, forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign results, consumer trends and advertising campaigns to test hypotheses and validate business assumptions.

Further company knowledge and education regularly through team workshops and research.

Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring all marketing expenditures are generating a high rate of return.

Support CEO and leadership during fundraising and grant application processes.

WHO YOU ARE You’re a well-oiled machine: with years of experience, you know the ins and outs of both traditional and digital marketing.

You understand how to recognize trends and when to set them.

You’ve worked in high-paced, creative startups before, and you will run your corner of ours with confidence and finesse.

You are a visionary who is not afraid of being given big asks and tough sells, and you embrace the challenge of disrupting the traditional way education and business is done.

Beyond independent, you take initiative, foresee and preemptively solve problems, and rebound from setbacks by finding lessons learned.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING 10 years of experience with traditional and digital marketing, content marketing and social media marketing.

7 years experience managing one or more teams.

Experience designing, planning, and managing integrated demand generation campaigns.

Ability to measure, analyze and report on all campaigns for effectiveness.

Demonstrated experience managing performance through KPIs such as cost per lead and cost per acquisition, adjusting the channel mix and messaging when needed.

Experience with managing a budget that meets company goals for pipeline growth.

Ability to oversee campaign budgets, timelines, resources, processes and technologies.

Exceptional data analysis and writing skills to share learnings throughout the organization.

Ability to demonstrate traction and growth in prior Marketing roles.

Experience driving growth and traction while at a startup.

Experience with one or more content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.

Passion for mentorship and a desire to foster an environment of learning, including through an apprenticeship program.

Respect for an environment of psychological safety and diversity of thought.

You might also have Experience with gamification or marketing gamified products is a BIG plus Experience marketing to double-sided marketplaces with vastly different target audiences.

A team of high quality contractors you would bring for specialty roles.

LOGISTICAL DETAILS Location: Remote, US Based Status: Full-Time Hours: Can commit to hours around the 9 a.m.

– 5 p.m.
