Job Summary

***This position is located in Chicago, IL or Richardson, TX only.***
***This position has the opportunity to work from home 2 days a week.***

As a Marketing Coordinator for IFM, you will provide event management and logistics support for Territory Managers in a 5-state region. This position requires a high-level of project management with a focus on collaboration with both external and internal teams for tactical project execution. This position is responsible for researching and identifying new events for sales team to attend as well as maintaining adequate stock of sales collateral for events. Additionally, this role will assist with implementing business plans and sales initiatives. This position will be responsible for coordinating events for a team of 12 people, with events at local level and state level. Some overnight travel required (less than 10%).

Responsibilities

Required Job Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in event and meeting planning with a successful track record.
• Experience creating, executing, and managing company events.
• Knowledge of event industry and trends.
• Experience creating communication plans and individual communications in support of engagements. Communications include: agenda; invitations; reminders; meeting materials, etc.
• Experience presenting to management and leadership personnel.
• Project management experience. Experience managing large-scale projects including project costing.
• Verbal and written communication skills. Interpersonal skills to communicate and interact effectively and professionally with co-workers, vendors, management, and Senior Leadership, etc.
• Technical skills including Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Ability and willingness to travel, including overnight stays with consecutive nights.
• Ability and willingness to work nights and/or weekends as needed.
• Self-directed, proactive and experience working autonomously.
• On the spot crisis management and problem solving skills

Preferred Job Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree
• Knowledge of broker and producer roles.
• Knowledge of Affordable Care Act.
