Cleaning Technician Level 2 (Temp-to-Perm)


Primary Duties:

Reporting to the Technical Supervisor, the Cleaning Technician Level 2 is responsible for the cleaning of all Watch parts that have been dismantled and eventually polished.

The position requires a high level of dexterity and focus to handle small parts, with a strong attention to detail to provide a best-in class quality in terms of cleanliness of the parts.


  • Prepare the components for cleaning.

  • Clean all components with proper equipment, when necessary.

  • Ensure quality and quantity of cleaned components (polishing and cleaning).

Repair Flow:

  • Collect & Transfer Repairs after polishing every hour,

  • Assist the supervisor by collecting repairs from the cart after dismantling and distributing them immediately to the responsible on the area according to the flag.

  • After cleaning process, transfer Repairs to the Spare Parts Team in a timely manner, as defined by the procedures of the RTC.

  • Ensure a constant flow of cleaning in order to maximize the usage of the cleaning machine

  • Perform tasks following accepted industry standard procedures for product repairs

Flow Backs Management:

  • Responsible to Manage flow-backs from the workshop and either handle the cleaning or provide the work to the polisher responsible for the flow-back.

  • QC the FB before is transferred back to the workshop (Polishing quality and cleaning must be checked),

Maintenance and Organization of the Working environment:

Follow RNA and Brands’ specifications:

  • Tools
  • Technical procedure
  • Work assignments
  • Standards of Quality & Standard Time of Operations (STOs)

Maintain Tools and Equipment

  • Ensure that all equipment used are calibrated and maintained at a high standard

  • Higher level of Maintenance: Being able to work on interventions on equipment like the Elma Machine (Maintenance level 2)

Change filters

  • Proper layout and accessibility of all tools and equipment

  • Maintain a cleaned, organized and safe working area

  • Able to handle and change all the chemicals



High School Diploma or GED is preferred

Required Experience:

  • Experience in the watch industry is preferred.

  • Working experience with luxury brands is a plus.

Technical Skills / Abilities:

  • High level of dexterity and focus to handle small parts, with a strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to follow instructions and efficiently provide a high level of quality.

Personal Skills:

  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Good communication and listening skills.
