HVAC Claims Technician/Adjuster

CornerStone Staffing is looking for an HVAC Claims Technician who wants to work for a top company in the industry!! 

Job Title: HVAC Claims Technician/Adjuster

Pay: $50k annually

  Job Description:

Provides customer/client services to multiple trades and services including residential HVAC, Plumbing,

electrical, Appliance service providers and parts suppliers in a call center environment.

Determines the

company’s liability related to submitted/reported repair claims and addresses any customer and/or service provider inquiries.

Validates coverage related to customer/client benefits.

Maintains CRM regularly with claim details and provides clear and concise overall direction & resolve to the assigned task.


Gathering of Labor time and cost, parts costs, match parts and labor to appropriate guide for

accuracy, enter information into system including all part numbers, tax, sublets, and shop supplies,

set-up claim in system with notes, reasons for approval/denial and provide authorization number.

Review claims for proper diagnosis and determine appropriate coverage.

Purchase outside parts when necessary in order to keep claims cost in line.

Knowledgeable of all new company products for proper administration and handling.

Review all technical issues for accuracy of diagnosis, repairs, and proper repair procedures.

Perform investigation of unusual claims as requested by management by talking to customers,

home service providers or any other involved parties.

Job Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of management/servicing experience in the residential heating and air

conditioning industry.

Must have current active HVAC trade license.

Technical knowledge of home related manufacturer products, and administration of repair


Ability to triage & troubleshoot failed products to determine parts utilization.

Ability to administrate claims in a call center environment while maintaining efficiency throughout

the claims process.

Must be able to understand all aspects of the HVAC claims process and proper skill handling with

customers and home services partners.

Good computer skills.

Ability to effectively interface with outside callers.

Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Strong knowledge of home repair services preferred
