Our IT Technician I will be responsible for the ongoing support of the Air Force Federal Credit Union end user hardware and software needs and the successful operation of data processing including daily, monthly, quarterly and annual routines.

What you will be doing:

  • Accurately and timely follows, executes, and maintains the daily, monthly-end, quarterly, and year-end processing schedule.
  • Provides support to all Credit Union staff in the following area: AFFCU software, hardware, internet, LAN, and telephone system.
  • Operates and maintains system printers; monitors inventory of computer supplies and orders.
  • Maintains working knowledge of systems operations for all shifts.
  • Monitors the implementation of system changes.
  • Researches and provides timely resolutions to outstanding Help Desk trouble tickets.
  • Researches alternate approaches to existing software when standardized approached cannot be applied.
  • Assists with the development of departmental procedures. Develops, writes, executes and verifies proprietary system procedures, reports and job schedules.
  • Provides support to other teams within the IT Department on an as needed, as assigned, basis.
  • Seeks out and relays future technology recommendations to management.
  • Performs other job related duties as assigned.

What you will bring along:

  • Associates degree in a computer related field, or recognized relevant certification(s).
  • 1-3 years’ of similar or related experience.
  • Hands on experience with diagnosing and resolving basic technical issues.
  • Must have diagnostic and maintenance abilities with PC hardware, software, and Local Area Network.
  • Experience working with end users/Help Desk environment and/or experience working with a ticketing system.
  • Must be familiar with Windows operating systems, the Internet and telephone system experience is a plus.
