Rope Access Technician Level 2

Acuren Inspection is looking for part-time casual Rope Access Level II Technicians to support our operations in the eastern region.

Responsibilities: Included, but not limited to:

  • Perform specific job functions as they relate to work orders
  • Have a comprehensive knowledge of advanced rescue techniques
  • Be able to demonstrate all the skills and knowledge required of Level II Rope Access Technician
  • Assist other technicians as required
  • Ensure operational safety of all equipment
  • Organize and report test results
  • Perform specialized inspections
  • May instruct and supervise others
  • Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management
  • Experience working in direct support of petrochemical facility engineers.
  • Willingness to travel

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Some college preferred
  • IRATA/SPRAT Level 2 Certification required including proficiency in theoretical knowledge, equipment and rigging, maneuvers, climbing and rescue/hauling
  • Valid drivers’ license required
