This is a Full-time position in Houston, TX posted August 28, 2021.

We are searching for a Senior Orthopedic Technician someone who works well in a fast-paced hospital setting.

In this position, you will provide excellent customer service and assist the patient care team by providing casting and medical assistance to the licensed providers for patient’s scheduled clinic visits.

Lastly, you will provide operational assistance, ensuring and coordinating the intake and rooming of patients to effectively manage the patient visit cycle time.

Think you’ve got what it takes?ResponsibilitiesProvides casting assistance to all members of the orthopedic and sports medicine teamPromotes customer service, patient safety, communication, and interaction in the clinicInitiates and supports patient flow in the clinic by screening patients and placing them in an exam roomIdentifies abnormal vital signs and reports to the clinic RN, MD, NP or PA.Receives page/notification of patient’s arrival and ready to room status from tracking systemPrioritizes patients to be roomed based on appointment and arrival times and other clinic protocolAssists with the preparation of equipment and aids physician during treatment, examination, and testingUses the appointment scheduling system to review and prepare for the next day’s clinic volumeStocks rooms daily with necessary clinical supplies, forms, and office supplies.
