Position Summary Work as a member of an Engineering Team in our Residential HVAC business unit to develop innovative HVAC products and technology.

Engineering Teams include Product Development, Value Analysis/Value Engineering, Component Engineering, Reliability Engineering, Advanced Technology, Control System Software Engineering, Control System Engineering, Control System Hardware Engineering, and Diagnostics teams.

Co-op Opportunities available: Spring-only, Spring/Summer, Summer/Fall and Fall-only semester co-ops

Major responsibilities may include:
Product 3-D design and modeling (Pro/E) Component/system analysis such as refrigerant cycle simulations Component and system testing and data analysis / review Oversee sample prototyping and qualification testing of products Support product design, productivity, and product quality projects Component and system testing and data analysis / review Conduct software and hardware testing of embedded controls Circuit design and analysis Agile software maintenance and development

Key competencies may include:
Good computer skills, experience with MS Office products Experience with CAD (preferably ProEngineer), as applicable Experience with commercial engineering software (e.g.

MatLab, Altium, Multisim, etc.), as applicable Experience with programming languages (e.g.

C, Ruby, Python, etc.), as applicable Experience with electrical lab equipment (oscilloscope, soldering, etc.), as applicable Good verbal and written communication skills Work effectively in a team-oriented environment Must have good conflict management skills and demonstrate versatility in personal interaction Results oriented individual with emphasis on overall team performance

Pursuing a bachelors, masters, or PhD degree with a cumulative overall GPA at or above 3.0 U.S.

citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S.
