Who we are The Aggie Code of Honor reads “An Aggie does not lie, cheat or steal, or tolerate those who do.” The Mission of the Aggie Honor System Office is to serve as a centralized organization to educate the University and its stakeholders about the Aggie Code of Honor, respond to allegations of academic misconduct, and facilitate remediation and education efforts for students found responsible for violations of the Aggie Code of Honor.

What we want The Aggie Honor System Office (AHSO) is seeking an Academic Integrity Administrator who will provide support to the office, faculty, students, and other stakeholders who are navigating the university’s processes on academic integrity.

This position requires an individual who is passionate about service to instructors/faculty and students, self-motivated in the pursuit of excellence, and understands the importance of process.

The successful applicant will have administrative experience, determination to be part of a passionate team of professionals, and a strong interest in student-development.

We are also seeking an individual who has, even at a basic level, some understanding of student conduct processes and supporting instructors/faculty.

Required Education and Experience: * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience* Two years of experience in office administration Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: * Working knowledge of spreadsheet, database, presentation and word processing software programs* Interpersonal and communication skills and ability to plan and organize effectively* Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others Preferred Education and Experience: * Master’s degree* Three or more years of related experience in office administration* Experience working with college students and/or faculty members* Professional experience in higher education Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality* Excellent presentation skills* Advanced proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs* Strong organizational and time management skills* Advanced knowledge of academic integrity principles* Ability to think analytically to solve problems effectively Responsibilities: * Communication
– Prepares and updates complex, technical, and confidential case files assigned by Director for cases received from designated colleges.

Coordinates Aggie Honor System Office hearings and investigations for assigned cases.

Serves as case presenter to Honor Council hearing panels for assigned cases.

Communicates appropriate AHSO policies and procedures and serves as resource for such.

* Processing
– Performs advanced word processing, desktop publishing, and data management activities.

Gathers information and conducts research in support of departmental initiatives.

Makes recommendations for process improvements, administrative changes, or new initiatives.

* Policy & Procedures
– Educates students, faculty, and staff about policies that govern the Aggie Honor System Office.

Serves as a resource for individuals and stakeholders that have questions about the office, its processes, and best practices.

Maintains knowledge of all policies and procedures relating to Academic Integrity.

Monitors office procedures.

Develops, evaluates and ensures adherence to AHSO policies and procedures.

* Design
– Designs, edits, and puts in final form information brochures, pamphlets, reports and online resources for faculty, staff, and students.

Performs other duties as assigned.
