TeamSleepNumber Position Purpose The Demand Planning Analyst drives the vision and the strategy of Sleep Numbers Field Services planning mechanism.

This person in this role will be responsible for the development and standardization of a planning procedure ultimately serving as a key input in workforce scheduling, asset planning and various other strategic initiatives.

The position will require a high amount of analytical prowess coupled with an ability to navigate through ambiguous and sometimes conflicting priorities.

This role will also require experience in reporting and an ability to translate numbers into meaningful, high-level synopses.

This role is open to a remote worker, otherwise will reside at our Headquarters location in Minneapolis, Minnesot Primary Responsibilities Develop weekly delivery forecasts based on both long-term and short-term organizational objectives Establish a procedure yielding a more predictable work schedule for Field Services workforce while achieving organizational objectives.

Create tools, processes and reporting to ensure the stability for capacity planning and asset allocation for Home Delivery Responsible for market/region/territory labor planning for Sleep Number Delivery Network Measure and evaluate business processes within Home Delivery, Scheduling and Routing identifying trends, developing reports and assisting with forecasts.

Collaborate with Supply Chain, Finance and Sales to generate accurate delivery volume forecasts as well as provide capacity guidance to upstream business partners Apply critical thinking, continuous improvement to a variety and volume of data in response to ongoing metrics across a variety of systems Create reporting and dashboards to monitor current and future fulfillment planning, analyze root causes of variance to plan and identify and assist in implementing process improvements and efficiencies for enhanced results to bottom line.

Responsible for reviewing trend and correlation analysis to identify areas that positively and/or negatively impact the experience for customers who interact with home delivery.

Design, create and implement system enhancements in congruence with IT standard development policies Undertake lead role as project manager in strategic events varying in depth, scope across multiple business units Identify tools for extraction, manipulation, analysis, and reporting of performance, forecasting and capacity metrics.

Serve as Home Delivery liaison in key cross-functional activities including but not limited to: Sales and Operations Planning, Financial Planning, Continuous/Six Sigma Improvement Projects and Human Capital Staffing Solutions.

Position Requirements BA or BS in related field required 2-4 years of experience in analyst related field preferably in supply chain, logistics/routing, retail or delivery scheduling 1 years of process improvement experience working in cross-functional teams analyzing quantitative and qualitative information and making recommendations that will improve the overall customer experience Strong analytical skills and natural affinity to analyze & mine data for problem solving Ability to transform indistinct company-wide goals into specific tactics executed by team members Fundamental understanding of information systems and ability to articulate interconnections across vast network Strong computer skills including Excel, Power BI, Access, PowerPoint, and Visio Strong communication, oral and written presentation skills; ability to think strategically and critically Evident work ethic; ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and work independently in a fast paced environment; able to work under pressure and effectively manage stress Resiliency to embrace challenges and strive to find creative solutions Must have excellent time management skills; detail oriented; organized Ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels and communicate teams’ progress to field leaders Experience in a retail environment a plus NPS experience a plus SQL(Standard Query Language) a plus LI-REMOTE Pay & Benefits WELLBEING AT SLEEP NUMBER, WITH SLEEP AT THE CENTER Improving the health and wellbeing of society through higher quality sleep starts with you.
