Hygiene Job DescriptionRegistered Dental Hygienist (RDH) needed for modern practice with high patient demand.About our office and teamWe are looking for a dental hygienist to cover for the time being.

We love our patients and want to find a great hygienist to get them back to healthy!

Our ultimate goal is to apply the safest and most effective COVID protocol by screening patients, taking temps, using oral rinses, N95 + level 3 surgical masks, face shields, gowns.

To help ensure that you are relaxed and comfortable, and to set our hygienists up for success, we request that you arrive 15 minutes early to allow time for a tour of the office, becoming familiar with your treatment room, and joining in our morning huddle.

Your scheduling allows 30-60-minutes per adult prophy, 60 minutes for periodontal maintenance patient, and 40 minutes per child.

SRP half mouth 90 min, full mouth 120-180 minutes.

A dedicated dental assistant will be there to assist you with setting up, cleaning between patients, charting, and radiographs.

Your physical well-being is important to us.

We encourage you to stay on time and take full advantage of the one-hour lunch break built into your schedule.

We are a paperless office with our own practice management software called EPMS.

It is very user friendly, any staff member will be happy help you through the minimal computer work necessary.

Please feel free to reach out with specific questions as we love working with all comfort and experience levels.ResponsibilitiesEvaluates overall oral health, examining oral cavity for signs of periodontal disease or possible cancers, including sores, recessed & bleeding gums, and orallesions.Documents dental history or chief complaint; records and reports pertinent observations and patient reactions to dental staff, as appropriate; documents lab procedures and ensures follow up on results.Follows through with oral hygiene procedures in accordance with treatment plans prescribed by the attending Dentist.

Procedures may include: Prophylaxis, Periodontal Scaling, RootPlaning, Debridement, Application of Fluoride Treatments, and Application of Protective Sealants.About Aspen Dental-branded practicesAspen Dental-branded practices are independently owned and operated by licensed dentists.
