Associate Technical Solutions SME

This is a Contract position in Frankston, TX posted August 28, 2021.

Storable is on the search for an Associate Technical Solutions SME.

A Storable Subject Matter Expert (SME) designs, consults, and helps: sell, implement, process, and support Storable products and services at the tier two, and tier three level.

All applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Location: Remote Storable is a distributed-first company.

While Storable is registered to employ in many states, we are not registered to employ in every state.

In order to be considered, you must permanently reside in the following states to be eligible for employment: Texas, Colorado, North Carolina, Tennessee, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Missouri, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Arizona, Alabama, Mississippi Louisiana, South Carolina, Oklahoma, Wyoming, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Virginia What you will do everyday: In this role you will resolve Storable Access Control hardware & technical integration problems, help resolve client operational challenges, and explain and promote the business & technical value propositions of all Storable product lines (specifically focusing on Storable Access Control) to Storable prospects.

You will provide the connective tissue between all parts of the organization’s Storable Access Control offerings including: storEDGE, Easy Storage Solutions (ESS) and SiteLink integrations.

You will start by providing all Storable Access Control services to internal and external teams, then work with Storable leadership to be a force multiplier
– enabling all teams to sell and service Storable Access Control products.

This role will sit within the Technical Solutions team, but as with all TS roles, have some functions that are unique to this product.

There will be cross functional projects where you will be the assigned SME, or put in charge of the project.

Speed is key (our client/prospects time money) Client conflict can lead to cross-sell opportunity Trust is key to being able to: Sell without Selling Agree publicly, disagree privately Be a good listener (Ask open ended questions, take meaningful notes on the response, then respond concisely and in a fact based manner) General Technical Solutions Expectations: Attained a minimum of 1 year above average performance in Technical Support or Technical Sales position Responsible for install/setup of new Access Control Clients Balance between technical solutions that meet the client requirements while maximizing Storable revenue Articulate Storable value propositions to clients/prospects Expertise in Access Control in all FMS platforms will be required within the first year of the job.

Assist in the implementation of vendor solutions & integrations required to meet customer expectations SME in one primary and at least one complimentary Storable product (example: Storable Access Control & storEDGE, Easy Storage Solutions & Cloud Access Control, SiteLink & Payments) Assist the Enterprise CS teams in identifying prospects for CSAT risk & upsell opportunities.

Storable Access Control occasionally act as 2nd and always act as 3rd tier problem solvers in their discipline when need arises (at the direction of Storable Technical Solutions leader for tier 2) Candidates must be able to balance the direction given from CS & Sales teams and the technical/ operational feasibility of the proposed solution while allowing the client relationship owner to drive the client conversation Understanding of both Enterprise and SMB business in self storage.

Strong writing skills for communicating with clients/prospects as well as documenting and publishing repeatable solutions.

Time and priority management will be critical as this role will be pulled “real-time” into critical sales and implementation situations.

Firm grasp on industry products outside of the Storable product offering and an understanding of what integration(s) are possible with Storable products.

Understanding of primary & complimentary Storable Product API capabilities.

Represent clients & prospects on Product Engineering bug & feature requests, as well as be aware of the most recent product road maps.

Willing to travel up to 40% to clients/prospects/tradeshows to present solutions, sometimes on short notice.

Travel has been considerably less over the last two years.

Trade shows will be the primary driver of travel however, in order to be fully deployable: A current USA passport is recommended.
