Job Description Infosys is seeking Azure Technology LeadThis position’s primary responsibility will be to provide technical expertise and coordinate for day to day deliverables for the team. The chosen candidate will assist in the technical design of large business systems; builds applications, interfaces between applications, understands data security, retention, and recovery. The role holder should be able to research on technologies independently to recommend appropriate solutions & should contribute to technology-specific best practices & standards; contribute to success criteria from design through deployment, including, reliability, cost-effectiveness, performance, data integrity, maintainability and scalability; contributes expertise on significant application components, program languages, databases, operating systems, etc., and guides/mentors the team during the build and test phases.Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Omaha, NE or Chicago, IL or New Jersey or Atlanta, GA or be willing to relocate to the area in the near future. • Experience in Azure Cloud, Platform management and Application support activitiesPreferred Skills• At least 4 to 10 years of experience in Information Technology• Experience in platform support activities like workload management, backup and restore management, patching, service provisioning, deployments, monitoring of cloud VMs, security and protecting identities, incident management.• Experience in application support activities like incident management, application monitoring, regular maintenance activities, service requests.• Hands-on in working with the Azure and Openshift environment• At least 4 years of experience in Middleware infra, experienced in API and service availability management• At least 4 years of experience in powerBI embedded, databricks, datafactory, HDinsight• Experience with OpenShift Cluster Resource management and Cloud deployment on Azure including monitoring, logging and security implementation• Experience with containerization and clustering technologies using Kubernetes• At least 4 years of experience in basic UNIX / AIX / Linux, Unix Shell scripting.• At least 4 years of experience in application support• Mentor the team in Technical Competencies and share weekly technical mailers• Interface with the customer for issue resolution, provide status updates and build customer confidence by effective incident management and contribute towards preventive maintenance• Good analytical skills and data analysis capabilities.• Good to have Azure or OpenShift certification• Strong Communication Skills• Willing to work in shifts as required• Attitude to learn new technologies and working on new projects.• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment• Familiarity with software development methodology such as Agile/Scrum• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face.
