Ref ID: 02420-0011916645 Classification: Compensation & Benefits Specialist Compensation: DOE Robert Half is searching for a Benefits Specialist interested in a possible contract-to-hire opportunity.

The Benefits Specialist will be primarily responsible for administering disability benefits and FMLA leave employee requests.

This will include understanding and answering questions regarding policies/procedures, filing and approving the appropriate paperwork, and communicating with employees regarding outcomes or other questions they may have.

The Benefits Specialist will work with the Benefits Manager during the open enrollment period and has a significant responsibility for the entering and maintaining the accuracy of employee benefit records into both electronic systems and paper-based files.

QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Experience
• At least 3 years of Human Resource or FMLA administration experience required
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required with experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of benefits-specific and leave-specific HR laws and regulations
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality with sensitive employee information
• Microsoft Excel skills HRIS software experience
• Flexible, ability to execute well in a fast-paced, rapidly growing organization
• Great attention to detail to ensure highest level of quality/rigor in reports & data analysis
• Proactive, organized, detail oriented, self-starter and quality driven
• Strong detail orientation and ability to multi-task with little direct supervision
