Business Analyst

This is a Full-time position in Round Rock, TX posted June 5, 2021.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Round Rock, TX that is immediately seeking a Business Analyst to join their team remotely in the US. This BA will be responsible for collaborating with application owners across the company who will be needing to migrate applications to other data centers and responsibilities are outlined below:

  • Translates conceptual customer requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers/project team
  • Collaborates with App Migration project team and App Owners to elicit, analyze, specify, and validate the business requirements into Jira stories
  • Analyzes and verifies features/stories for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards
  • Works with stakeholders and project team to prioritize and sequence collected requirements
  • Manages and tracks the status of story completion throughout the project lifecycle, refining as necessary
  • Communicates changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements – verbally or through written documentation – to team members and other stakeholders such that issues and solutions are understood
  • Researches, reviews, and analyzes the effectiveness and efficiency of existing requirements-gathering processes and develop strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes

Job Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Administration, Information Systems, or related field
  • Demonstrated experience working with Application teams for migration process development and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, documentation, and verification
  • Open to working during off hours and weekends as required, working with Global Teams in different time zones
  • Familiarity and experience working with Service Now Change Management and Jira Software
  • Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail
  • Able to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing, shifting priorities and have flexibility across time zones
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure
  • Ensures rigorous attention to detail in all work activities and products
  • Results-driven and accountability-minded
