Your ability to dive in and develop an understanding of business issues and data challenges within the industry, as well as your ability to communicate from both a business and technical standpoint, will be your keys to success in this role.

As Business Analyst III, you will wear many hats and thrive in a rapidly changing environment with a start-up feel.

Responsibilities Lead requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders, gathering requirements, then analyzing, documenting, and editing requirements, specifications, and business processes from business leaders and IT stakeholders.

Collaborate with the development teams to ensure a thorough understanding of the business needs as they relate to the proposed system design, and develop an understanding of business issues and data challenges of the organization and industry.

Negotiate technical and non-technical solutions that both satisfy the business user and conform to the technical architecture, collaborating with business users, internal, and external development teams in the design, development, and successful deployment of new or improved application processes.

Partner with business and product managers on QA and UAT test scenarios; provide assistance and direction to QA/UAT analysts with validation and testing of proposed solutions including validation of resolved defects.

Assist with support of the end-user community by providing additional application support and training as required, working with business personnel to identify required changes and to support compliance.

Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Business, or a related field 10+ years of progressive IT experience with the ability to write requirements 3-5 years in a business analyst role with an asset-based retail lending or financial services organization Highly flexible, open to change, with the ability to adapt quickly to new directive and projects Confidence, resourcefulness, and knowledge of industry practices when solving business problems Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail coupled with organizational and time management skills Experience with packaged software applications specifically within integrations and customizations Ability to translate business requirements to technical requirements Strong relationship-building skills with both IT team members and members of various other departments across the organization Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with a high level of proficiency in Excel and ability to create pivot tables, macros, and effective formula Physical demands for this position frequently include: the ability to remain in a stationary position, move about freely inside and occasionally outside of the office, and the operation of mechanical controls, such as a keyboard.
