We have partnered with Trupanion to offer an exclusive suite of pet health insurance and wellness plans for pet parents.

This is just one more way we’re advancing our mission to make pet healthcare more affordable and accessible for all pet parents.We are looking for dynamic individuals who love to build relationships and help us launch and grow customized care plans designed for Chewy pet parents.

What You’ll DoInteract with customers by taking frontline, multichannel contacts, recommending the best pet health insurance option for their unique needs, and assisting with post-enrollment questionsReceive and handle Healthcare and frontline customer service contacts according to business needs.Use creativity and critical thinking skills to research, problem-solve, and determine appropriate solutions for the customer and follow-up as needed to resolve issues.Develop a working knowledge of insurance and operate as an expert of Chewy’s pet health insurance plans, knowing the key features and options to recommend the best plan for pet parents.Consistently offer understanding, active listening, patience, empathy, and kindness to customers and Team Members.Go above and beyond to “Wow” our customers when helping them find the right products, set up their accounts, track down orders, and sometimes get creative with solutions.Operate with a willingness to learn by receiving and giving feedback in a way that promotes a culture of being open-minded to grow.Learn and operate within Chewy and our third-party insurance partner internal and external technologies to provide a consistent customer experienceSuccessfully transfer customers to our third-party insurance partner that we are unable to assist internally at Chewy.Develop an understanding of selling techniques using the consultative sales approach to meet individual and team performance goalsConduct outbound calls to customers as needed.

What You’ll NeedRequired to have and maintain a Property & Casualty Insurance license in either Texas or FloridaUnderstanding of pet insurance and how it works with a willingness to adapt to policy/process updates quicklyProven track record of quality, productivity, and exceptional customer serviceDemonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment without missing details or cutting cornersFlexibility to shift schedule and work overtime as neededKnowledge of Microsoft SharePoint and OneNoteWillingness and ability to stay within insurance regulations, including:Complete fingerprinting per insurance regulationsPass additional background check for insurance regulationsReside in a location compliant with your licensing Team Members Working from Home Our team members are currently working from home once they complete the first 4-6 weeks of on-site training.

We anticipate returning to the office full-time sometime in 2022.Have a reliable wired, high-speed internet and broadband connection (20Mbps+ download speed/ 5Mbps+ upload speed (You can test your internet speed at speedtest.Net or by contacting your service provider.) Applicants must meet and show this requirement.You provide high-speed internet.
