The Chief Commercial Officer (“CCO”) holds primary accountability for strategy and decisions regarding supply management, accounting, and legal support to drive business growth and market share.

The CCO is accountable to the CEO, and significant duties revolve around the non-project related activities within the organization.

The CCO drives the integrated commercial success of the organization.

The CCO is essential to the organization and develops and manages the supply management, legal and accounting support to insure proper governance of company assets and endeavors.

Requirements

Outlier is looking for an individual with previous legal, procurement and energy development experience.

Typical candidates may either have a law degree with ten years of legal experience in the regulatory or construction industries followed by another ten years in energy project development or have an MBA with twenty years’ experience in supply management in the energy or construction industry.

Specific experiences and specialties may include:
Experience with multiple types of project execution methods and construction contracting formats, and the ability to choose the most appropriate contracting strategy in any given situation.

Experience managing successful supply chain organizations within the energy industry and delivering the full benefits of scaling and large buying power within an organization to drive down costs and increase levels of service.

Experience with regulatory compliance within the power sector; including power purchase agreements, interconnection agreements and air permitting.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

An entrepreneurial attitude and work ethic; proactively performing any job or function necessary at the time to further the organization’s goals and success.

An “out of the box” critical thinker, who can find solutions to corporate issues and client needs that others oftentimes overlook without diminishing the acceptable risk profile of the organization.

Exceptional technical and computer skills using the full Microsoft 365 product line and other trade dependent platforms as needed.

A socially and financially conservative mindset that compliments the ideals and ethics of the organization.

An effective servant leadership mentality that promotes the growth, performance, and dedication of all employees within the organization.

This is a critical role within the organization and will be compensated accordingly.

Salary for this position starts at $200k annually, commensurate with experience.

A bonus structure of up to 100% of salary is available, dependent upon individual and company KPI’s.

Ownership equity is included according to the company’s vesting schedule.

Health, Dental and Life Insurance and a 401k plan are available with this position.
