2-10 Home Buyers Warranty is seeking a candidate to control and resolve claims where an adjudication or purchasing error has occurred.

These are situations where coverage has been misapplied and needs correction, and upon correction, this role will communicate amongst various departments and external parties of updates, financial impacts and any subsequent information around the changes as needed.

This role will be responsible for the correction and re-adjudication of claims in cases where errors have occurred in near real-time.

Additionally, this role will be responsible for correcting, placing, or canceling corresponding purchase orders for claim resolution and contract adhesion.

Verbally communicating all changes to impacted parties such as the contractor, homeowner and internal teams is a key responsibility in this role.

Must be able to work with minimal supervision while completing tasks efficiently with sound judgement.

Is able to resolve Supervisor, Customer and Contractor escalations and resolve complex claim challenges with minimal assistance.

Core Job Responsibilities: Corrects and communicates proper claim adjudication and course of action to contractors, homeowners and internal parties Initiate contractor future billing corrections recovery process Document all customer interactions in a clear, concise, and informative matter leveraging company systems Delivers high quality customer interactions measured via quality assurance standards Authority and responsibility to alter the claim path as needed to ensure the most cost-effective repairs are completed for the claim Understand and explain the terms and conditions of the contract and effectively identify, change, and communicate adjustments to adjudications to all involved parties Manages individual tasks to resolve claims and move claims forward towards resolution Explains pricing structures and billing practices to contractors based on their specific agreed 2-10 HBW pricing Defuses home warranty claim escalations with contractors and homeowners in a professional manner while still upholding the terms and conditions of our warranty contract Document and note all customer, contractor, and supplier interactions in a clear, concise, and informative matter in the claims management systems Other duties as assigned What skills and experience should you bring to this role?
