This is a Full-time position in Kennedale, TX posted January 9, 2023.
Starting pay $18.00/hour.
Shifts: Day and Night 12 hours 6am-6:30pm and 6pm-6:30am
Schedule: 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off. Every other weekend is a 3 day weekend
Prospective employees will be responsible for the custody, observation and discipline of offenders in the facility within the directives set forth by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice as well as MTC.
If selected for an interview you must bring the following:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Texas drivers license and social security card
- If served in the military a copy of the DD214
Employment is contingent upon receiving the above listed documents, passing a physical agility test, background, and exam in the TDCJ Correctional Officer Pre-Service Training Academy.
