OPERATING PARTNER FOR PE FIRMCrescendo Capital PartnersAustin, Texas Metropolitan Area Crescendo Capital Partners, LLC (CCP), seeks an Operating Partner (OP) to augment the investment team.

The OP will work alongside the existing CCP team to help vet transactions and work with portfolio company CEOs to improve operating results.

Candidate will work in a fast-paced, lean, entrepreneurial investment group focused on ” Old economy” companies construction/trade, light manufacturing and distribution.

Strong preference for candidate who has led a multi-site construction, renovation or trade service firm with $100+M revenue.

CCP:
·CCP is a 6-pro PE firm based in Austin and Chicago.

CCP is primarily focused on lower-middle-market, change of control transactions, typically with enterprise values of $25M to $150M.
·While we have worked with outside executive talent on one-off bases, we wish to internalize this role in a full-time position.

Role Responsibilities:
·Help the CCP team vet new platforms and help CCP and incumbent management teams vet add-on acquisitions.
·Liaise with portfolio company CEOs to drive operational improvements, develop best practices, improve scalability and, where appropriate, achieve integration objectives.
·Mentor portfolio company CEOs.
·Serve on portfolio company BODs, providing strategic development and oversight with respect to key growth levers, other initiatives and KPIs.
·Help the CCP team hire portfolio company executives, and help portfolio company CEOs with hiring strategies.
·Drive 30/90/360/5Y operational plans, in concert with portfolio company executives.
·Identify, communicate and enable best operational practices across CCP portfolio companies.
·Help the CCP team develop specific investment theses across sectors.

Role Requirements:
·Travel 1-2 days per week, closely interacting with portfolio company CEOs (current and prospective).
·10+ years of experience growing/managing a $100+M company, preferably including an exit, as CEO, COO or Divisional President for a construction/renovation/services f irm
·Agility; ability to multi-task among multiple portfolio companies and targets.
·Blend of corporate experience and ” Gas in the tank.”
·Private equity overlap (preferred).
·Leadership skills, including high EQ and ” User-friendliness” for CCP and portfolio company managers.
·Highly-refined communication skills, both verbal and written; different communicationapproaches are required for different constituencies.
·Basic financial fluency, including P& L’s and value creation inputs.
·Results-oriented focus.
·Undergraduate degree.

Compensation:
·TBD mix of current compensation and equity participation, plus the ability to invest directly in deals.
