Cyber – Business Development Associate

This is a Full-time position in Houston, TX posted June 7, 2021.

Explosive growth has created the need for a Business Development Associate in our Houston office with frequent travel opportunities across the U.S.

We are searching for someone who has a passion for sales, client service, and interest in growing a business of your own.

This professional will be expected to grow new sales/revenue and client retention through creative ideas, direct outreach, pipeline management, client proposal/presentation deliverable creation, and collaboration across multiple departments within alliantgroup.

The ideal candidate will need to display high energy, ownership, urgency, organizational skills, and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities
Daily research and lead generation to target and qualify potential clients Create, deliver and track proposals Proactively record all account activity within CRM database (Salesforce) Actively participate in new business development planning sessions with colleagues to ensure the identification of quality opportunities Identify and participate in industry events Direct outreach to prospects and clients Pipeline Management Determine upcoming closures on a weekly, monthly basis and make recommendations regarding opportunities in the pipeline Identify and escalate opportunities that have gone cold and need to be put to the forefront Generate referrals
– tracking, assisting in building relationships, setting calls, etc.

Qualifications
Cybersecurity/Tech sales and experience preferred but not required 1-3 years’ experience in a fast paced, sales related role is preferred but not required
– entry level/new grads welcome!

4 year Bachelor’s degree is required Proactive, career oriented go-getter who is competitive by nature and likes working in an entrepreneurial environment Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to prioritize and succeed in a collaborative environment with multiple initiatives The ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced high performance culture by collaborating with peers and colleagues on a daily basis Excellent presentation and written communication skills Excellent organizational, research and problem solving skills Ability to travel domestically up to 70% of the time Proficient computer skills, experience with a CRM such as Salesforce is a plus
