Director, Franchise Development G6 Hospitality About the role Come join a company that has been growing rapidly and outperforming the market segment over the last 5 years.

G6 Hospitality, which represents the Motel 6 and Studio 6 brand has initiated a system-wide renovation effort, invested in technology and has expanded globally.

Specifically, within the Human Resources team we have recently made new investments in technology to better support our team members and put a greater focus on talent management, career pathing and development.

What you will be doing The Director, Franchise Development will be responsible for creating new relationships with potential franchisees while maintaining and nurturing existing relationships.

The position will require travel within the assigned Area of Responsibility as well as to other geographical areas as requested.

This role is responsible for: collecting data, generating reports, visiting properties, determining viability of properties and/or markets, reviewing contracts, negotiating deals, determining renovation needs and preparing Property Improvement Plan (PIP), closing deals, and collecting documents for contract execution The “top six @ 6” Create efficient working relationships Identify and qualify franchise prospects Manage referrals Effectively take prospects from application to franchise agreement execution Negotiate specifications with franchisees Enter and track projects into company database (FranConnect) What we are searching for We are looking for someone who prospects and seals the deal.

We need someone that is not just a closer, but someone that can understand the respective business model to guide, influence and inspire franchisers.

The right candidate possesses the following: Strong communication and organization skills are critical Strong negotiation skills and ability to “close deals” are necessary Problem solver, creative, sharp thinker, business-savvy, proactive, self-driven Ability to work in a team-based system and get along well with others We feel e successful candidate has these qualifications and experience: Minimum 1-year Business Development or Franchising experience Analytical and critical thinking skills including working with, understanding or producing: Financial statements: P&L, Balance Sheets Strong negotiation skills and ability to “close deals” are necessary Real estate/hospitality/retail/F&B/multi-unit industry experience
