eCOA Test Lead

This is a Full-time position in Houston, TX posted August 22, 2021.

Job Overview: eCOA Test Lead (Remote) (Home based in the US or Canada) * Leads end-to-end electronic Clinical Outcomes Assessments (eCOA) User Acceptance Testing projects as assigned and serve as a validation team member on multiple assignments as designated by the management with support from other team members as needed.* Active participation in eCOA study team and design meetings.* Review and provide input on requirements, specifications, screen reports..* Proactive follow-up with Sponsor and Third Party Vendor to ensure comprehensive understanding of eCOA study and technology design with a view of providing quality deliverables.* Manage eCOA UAT project timelines, ensuring that team members adhere to the schedules and timetables for the completion of projects.* Responsible for creation of eCOA UAT Test Plan and eCOA UAT Test Scripts, directing the execution of the test scripts, manage defect tracker leading eventually to system go-live for initial and post production releases.* Respond to and solve technical oriented problems as appropriate.* Lead meetings with stakeholders to present UAT material.* Ability to guide/instruct participants during the execution of eCOA UAT and system integration.* Collaborate with both Sponsor and internal team members to develop scenarios for testing purposes.* Provide coordination of virtual global validation teams as needed to complete eCOA UAT projects.* Maintains and utilizes a strong knowledge of SOPS and validation work procedures/standards in relation to the Validation tasks.* #LIRemote Education/Qualifications: * University / college degree (life sciences, health sciences, information technology or related subjects preferred).* Experience and/or education plus relevant work experience, equating to a Bachelor’s degree will be accepted in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.* Fluent in English, both written and verbal Experience: * Minimum 3-5+ years of experience in clinical systems such as CTMS, ePRO, IXRS, EDC or an equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the key responsibilities of the job.* Proficiency in converting complex technical and business requirements into an understandable UAT Test Plan and UAT Test Scripts.* Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach* Strong communication and interpersonal skills* Strong attention to detail* Problem solving/logic skills* Good time management skills and maintain the highest standards of quality work.* A neat, methodical and thorough approach to the work with an emphasis on attention to detail.* Good concentration skills are required to meet the consistently high standards expected.* Self-motivation with the ability to work under pressure to meet demanding deadlines.* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, preferably in a GCP environment.* Ability to prioritize work* Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.* Flexibility – being able to move from one computer system to another with ease and adapt to new technology and a constantly changing work environment.
