Electrical Mission Integration Engineer 2

Our team is excited to meet you Your Role: What you’ll be doing Develop and manage launch vehicle to spacecraft electrical interface requirements and verifications.

Define launch vehicle electrical interface designs to meet unique spacecraft interface requirements.

Designs may include Avionics hardware components (e.g.

commanding capability, emergency detection notification, in-flight power) and/or harnessing.

Coordinate with other Electrical Engineering disciplines for the design implementation of electrical interfaces.

Support program office integration/management/customer meetings as well as all program reviews presenting status and design details Develop and maintain schedules and perform other program management functions Work with internal and external customers Verify software requirements and functionality Evaluate mission critical circuits for compatibility Release mission specific/unique test requirements Review test procedures to ensure all mission unique electrical requirements are met Provide day of launch support.

Your Background: What education and experience you’ll need Requires a bachelor’s degree and 2
– 6 years of experience.

Job Requirements: Your Background: What skills you’ll need Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or other related field.

Preferred degree
– Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.

Experience working with NASA, Space Force and Aerospace is preferred.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience working spacecraft interfaces in the launch applications is preferred Proficiency in MS Office Applications Available to work launch and issues outside of business hours Available to travel Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance, active TS/SCI security clearance is preferred.

Experience presenting in front of customers and working with customers is preferred Experience in program/project management (schedules, budgets, etc).

Experience working spacecraft interfaces in the launch applications is preferred.

Ability to work effectively with others.

Independent worker.

Be willing to acknowledge fault immediately, and learn from the mistake.

Be open to constructive feedback.

Able to set aside egos and emotions in order to get the job done and make decisions in the best interest of the program.

Aggressive about solving issues and acts with a sense of urgency.

– $117,596 Please note that the salary information shown above is a general guideline only.

Salaries are based upon a candidate’s experience and qualifications, as well as internal equity, market and business considerations.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in addition to base pay.
