The ideal candidate would have design and/or operational experience with high purity 316L Stainless Steel delivery systems, process equipment or delivery containers.

Additionally, experience with equipment with high temperature control systems would be beneficial.The ideal candidate will exhibit the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, continuous improvement environment focused on safety, quality, and equipment reliability.This position will work cross-functionally with a diverse engineering team, chemists, and product marketing managers.

The position requires working closely with other new product engineering resources and equipment to collectively succeed and deliver superior products and solutions.This job opportunity is in our Burnet, TX facility, one hour outside vibrant Austin, TX.In this role you will:Design build and test prototype Stainless Steel delivery components and systems.Work on best practice temperature controls for both cold and hot components.Continuous improvement on temperature uniformity for high temperature components.Working knowledge of medium vacuum systems, vacuum pumps, and instrumentation.Understand material of construction and compatibility with various chemistries.Work safely and drive innovation and continuous improvement.Work with development chemist to learn current manufacturing processes for current and future solid precursors.Listen actively and solve problems in a structured manner.Deal with change while managing ambiguity to deliver business results.Manage change through cross-functional partnering in a global environment.Traits we believe make a strong candidate:Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or similar technical field or related experience is required.

A Master’s degree is a plus.Demonstrated experience (5-10 years) of increasing responsibilities.Demonstrated understanding of engineering fundamentals, chemistry knowledge.Effective verbal and written communication skills necessary to deliver technical presentations in support of product proposals and engineering design reviews.Ability to work independently with the mentoring of senior engineers in multiple disciplines.Travel, both domestically and internationally, may be required to effectively fulfill the position responsibilities.Accessible by laptop computer and cell phone for occasional use during off hours.Desired Qualifications:Demonstrated experience within a global, multicultural, multi-location organization serving the semiconductor industry.Handling of air sensitive compoundsIntroduce improvements in product performance and/or cost (value engineering).Understand Materials of Construction and how they interact in contact with corrosive chemicals.A fundamental knowledge of (vapor pressure, material stability, material compatibility, etc.) and thermodynamics (mass flow, etc.).Experience with chemically inert coatings and method of application onto metallic surfaces.Your success will be measured by:Tenacity to drive projects to world class performance in a timely manner.Professionalism, integrity, and high degree of accountability.Speed of project implementation, per specification and under budget.Support teams to develop creative solutions to technical problems is essential.Strong communication skills up, down, and across the organization with project teams, stakeholders, and senior leadership.Focus on team success and is accountable for team and individual results.Leverage advancements in technology that create significant improvements.Proactively raise concerns and recommend solutions.What we offer::Our total rewards package goes above and beyond just a paycheck.
