Summary of What You Will Do

Title First Agency recently opened our newest location in Dallas, Texas!

We are looking for an experienced Escrow Processor to join and help grow our team!

This position is great for someone who is looking to further their career.

It requires the day to day management of an open pipeline of orders, professional and timely communication with the customer and the ability to handle multiple tasks.

Candidates must have experience with Texas Escrow Processing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Day to day management of a pipeline of mortgage loan files.

Prepare HUD-1 settlement statement in accordance with lenders closing instructions.

Calculate premiums, closing costs, mortgage tax and recording fees in licensed states.

Professional, timely communication (verbal and written) with borrower and lender regarding files in the pipeline.

Balancing and disbursement of closed loan files.

Prepare mortgage documents for recording.

Prepare short form final title insurance policies.

Have an understanding of how to handle the following title issues: Order Payoffs Verify/Clear Judgments Obtain Subordinations Create CPL’s, Affidavits and order Quit Claim Deeds Verify taxes with local government offices
What You Must Have
Demonstrated familiarity with all relevant documents produced in preparation for the closing transaction.

Detail oriented with good typing/computer skills.

Experience using MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).

Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Fast learner and flexible with daily/special assignments.

Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.

Ability to work with minimal supervision in both individual and team environment.

Strong organizational and customer service skills.

Punctual, responsive, reliable and responsible.

Self starter with a positive attitude.

Education and/or Experience
2+ years experience in the title industry, mortgage processing or real estate closing field.

Associates or Bachelors Degree desired but not required.

Knowledge of ResWare highly desired.

Licensed Texas Escrow Processor a plus but not required.
