Field Engineer Coordinator


This is a Contract position in San Antonio, TX posted August 23, 2021.

The HTS Field Engineer Coordinator provides landscape management.

He /she will perform basic clerical functions and tasks and will function as an integral part of the project team on site.

This job is at City of Hope in Duarte, California and the candidate will be required to be onsite.

This is a temporary contracted position.


Role Specific Duties and Responsibilities While onsite communicates regularly with the Project Manager.

Must be able to work outside in various weather conditions.

Will be responsible for creating work orders for facilities utilizing and in house software Will be responsible for managing on-site landscaper Will need to document areas of improvement with before and after photographs Validate that work has been completed as required and maintain tracking tools and dashboard reporting.

Will need to have basic computer skills.

Provides administrative support to the HTS Transition Planning team, and occasionally, may mentor new team members in HTS-defined methodologies, systems, and tools.

Other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications 2 years of experience in landscape management or construction management experience.

Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills in addition to proficiency in the more recent versions of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook) Possesses an excellent work ethic, and consistently demonstrates a commitment to quality and customer-centered productivity.

Prioritizes effectively produces thorough work, and completes assignments on schedule.

Keeps focused on improving skills and learning new processes and indicate a willingness to teach another team member.


Work Conditions Overtime and weekends may be required to meet project and/or assignment deadlines.

Working outside in overt weather conditions.

On occasion, may involve physical labor – lifting of up to 25 pounds.

May have to work with high noise levels if assigned onsite at a project with an active construction environment.
