If you have a passion for Solar, Renewable Energy, Natural Resources, Sustainability, come and apply with us!Position SummaryInstall Coordinator reports to the Branch Manager and is responsible for organizing and coordinating the Branch installation crews in collaboration with the Production Manager.

The Install Coordinator will be responsible for assisting the Production Manager with scheduling and overseeing the installation of solar projects as well as to facilitate a smooth handoff to the inspection department.

The Install Coordinator ensures adherence to contract specifications and established policies and procedures.

They are familiar with a variety of solar installation principles, practices, and procedures.

Works closely with the Production Manager, Branch Manager and Branch Coordinator.Job Duties/ ResponsibilitiesPlan, coordinate, and schedule installations of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems to ensure conformance to National Building and Electrical Codes and Freedom Forever standard installation practicesRemotely assess potential solar installation sites to determine feasibility and design requirements.Evaluate and implement the resources and processes required to successfully complete quality installs at a high volume.Ensure that “Best Practices” are being consistently applied throughout the installation process.Assess system performance or functionality at the system, subsystem, and component levels.Assures the quality of work produced is acceptable to company standards and specifications.Work closely with the Production Manager, Branch Manager, and the Branch Coordinator to provide accurate installation forecasts and branch performance reporting.Deliver excellent customer experience and escalate customer concerns as necessary.Ensure that every member of the installation team receives proper safety training and equipment applicable to their position.Enforce Safety Standard Operating Procedures with the support of the Production Manager.Drive continuous improvement in Safety, Quality, Customer Service, and Productivity throughout the installation process.

Qualification RequirementsHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED)1 year of solar experience preferredMust have a minimum of 2+ years of relatable experiencePossess above average working knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite; experience in operational CRM and ERP systems is a plusExcellent communication skills that will enhance vendor and supplier relationships, as well as with the installation teamPossess strong organizational skills and capable of making decisions without constant supervisionAbility to read and interpret job orders as well as understand specificationsPossess a wide range of solar installation skills to provide accurate remote job assessmentCapable of learning new skills as neededHave knowledge of materials and processes that relate to the company’s productsMust have a valid driving license and a clean driving recordAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentPhysical demands and abilitiesRegularly spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computersRegularly move from sitting to standing positions effortlesslyRegularly spend long hours in intense concentration reviewing and entering financial information into a computerRegularly use hands and fingers to handle, control or feel objectsRegularly see details of objects that are less than a few feet awayRegularly speak clearly so listeners can understandRegularly understand the speech of another personFrequently work in on projects that require deadlinesFrequently bend to file and maintain filesINDSJ1Freedom Forever is an equal opportunity employer.
