This exciting opportunity provides for full lifecycle project services.Your Responsibilities: The GIS Specialist responsibilities may include full or partial responsibility of the following assignments:• Building, updating and managing project-driven geodatabases, including SDE databases• Creating, maintaining and distributing GIS data based on engineering input, as well as client/third-party needs• Publishing and maintaining ArcGIS web-based map services and applications• Producing extensive mapping and drawing packages and numerous other GIS mapping deliverables (e.g., pipeline alignment sheets, permit drawings, detail drawings, plans and profiles, location maps)• Leading geospatial design and analysis to support the generation of development opportunities• Leveraging standard ESRI GIS applications (ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online), as well as custom/proprietary tools developed by Troy and/or clients• Coordinating and verifying the quality of GIS data/operations for large engineering projects• Collaborating with GIS team members on numerous work assignments in a proactive, client-oriented environment• Expanding digital capabilities by exploring and integrating new technologies and software, plus developing new strategies to improve existing methods, tools and workflowWhat we Offer: • Comprehensive benefits plan• Employer matched 401k• Flexible schedule – including remote working options• Competitive compensation – commensurate with expertise, skills and capabilitiesPosition_Requirements: Qualifications: • Proficiency with the ESRI software suite (ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online)• Proficiency in the implementation/configuration of ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS for Server, etc.)• Experience designing and developing ArcGIS Online web-based maps and applications• Experience building, deploying, and supporting ESRI mobile applications such as Survey123 and Field Maps• Experience with relational databases and database management, and/or managing GIS data within SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL database environments• Value-added organizational, interpersonal and documentation skills• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills• Programming experience including Python, SQL, JavaScript, FME, Arcade, HTML5• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment with significant collaboration, knowledge sharing and focus on customer service and continuous improvementRequired Education/Experience: • GIS Certificate• Completion of some college or Associate’s degree in GIS, cartography, MIS or computer science• Minimum of eight (8) years’ GIS experienceEqual_Opportunity_Employer: Troy Construction provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment, including recruiting, hiring, placement, promotion, termination, layoff, recall, transfer, leaves of absence, compensation and training.PI226549958
