Greyhound: Customer Rentention Specialist


This is a Full-time position in Lucas, TX posted September 1, 2021.

The Customer Retention Specialist is responsible for identifying at risk customers and working to retain their business.

The position will successfully retain customers by creating reports and performing customer touches to ensure retention.

Key Duties:Monitor key accounts shipment volumeOpen lines of communication for repeat customers and assist as neededResponsible for coordinating and assisting key customers with order entry, account management, tracing, and issue resolution.

Maintain sales-related records and progress reports.

Submit accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reports, as required.Effectively demonstrate and train GPX customers on the online order entry and shipment tracking applicationBe a liaison between customer and Field Operations/Customer Support staff to improve customer experienceAll other duties assigned by ManagementQualifications:High School diploma or equivalentCollege degree preferred3-5 years Customer Service / Transportation experience2-5 years Sales experienceProficiency in Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams)Strong analytical, interpersonal, and decision-making skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsMust have strong time management, organizational and follow-up skillsThorough knowledge of United States geographyAbility to work independently with little supervision and prioritize multiple tasks
