Head of Compensation


This is a Full-time position in Lewisville, TX posted July 3, 2021.

Direct/Manage/Supervise the organization’s compensation philosophy and programs, ensuring alignment with business goals and strategies.

Plan, develop, and implement compensation programs that are internally equitable, externally competitive, aligned to Company goals, and legally compliant.

Make recommendations regarding salary grades and market rates for specific jobs or functional areas.

Design and develop incentive programs.

Manage the annual review process, including job evaluation, base pay and incentive plan review, merit budgets, etc.

Oversee annual compensation survey participation, benchmarking process, and data analysis.

Research best compensation practices in the market.

Work with leaders across functional areas on shared initiatives.

Make strategic decisions based on company goals and objectives.

Develops guidelines, processes, and procedures Compensation function and the business.

Responsible for resource allocation, including budget and personnel.

Responsible for hiring, firing, performance appraisals, and pay reviews.

Extensive business knowledge with comprehensive understanding of the organization and functional area.

Develops a compensation philosophy that assists the organization in meeting its business objectives.

Reviews and approves salary structures and budgets for incentive plans or salary increase cycles.

Determines effectiveness of current compensation programs in motivating and retaining employees, and in driving employee performance.

Identifies and responds to trends in total rewards packages through review and analysis of market data and compensation surveys.

Ensures that all compensation-related activities are in compliance with applicable regulations and standards.

Company Required License / Certification: CCP Desired Desired Work Experience 10 or more years Desired Education Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Experience Finance / Accounting Other Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Must be highly proficient in using MS Office products (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint).

Must have advanced mathematics skills and be able to write complex formulas.

Proficiency using Workday HCM to manage and administer compensation programs.

Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communications skills.
