Job Summary
BASIC FUNCTION
HCSC is looking for a dynamic and personable Senior Associate HR Business Partner to join its team. The Associate and Senior Associate HR Business Partner strategically partners with the HR Business Partner Director in gathering appropriate information to respond to the HR needs of the division(s) supported. They will identify opportunities in which HR can partner to support business objectives with people implications and participate in facilitating HR/business related change and cultural transformation initiatives across assigned divisions/subdivisions. In formulating partnerships across the HR function, this will enable the Associate and Senior Associate HR Business Partner to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.
NOTE: relocation is not available, sponsorship will not be extended – the role is hybrid requiring three days working in the office ~
Responsibilities
JOB REQUIREMENTS
*Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of business experience performing an HR generalist role or similar relevant experience OR 7 years of business experience performing an HR generalist role or similar relevant experience
*Knowledge of federal, state and local labor laws related to employment.
*Ability to think strategically and acquire a thorough understanding of the organization’s hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices.
*Relationship building and excellent interpersonal ability.
*Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
*Strong sense of teamwork and customer service driven.
*Solid problem-solving and analytical ability.
PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS
*Master’s degree or professional HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP credential).
*Proven stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across an enterprise.
