If so, check out this opportunity with our growing division & HR team.The Human Resources Specialist is accountable for assisting with the recruitment process, providing general administrative/clerical support and process all XTG related employment documents. This role will also be responsible for candidate sourcing, screening, and initial (entry-level) phone interviewing, interview scheduling/coordination, administering assessments, background/drug/reference checking and activities involving the employee selection process. This role will provide direct support to the XTG Human Resources Department.The Exponential Technology Group (XTG) is a specialist in the electronic components distribution and design engineering services industries. XTG is part of the TTI Family of Companies.ACCOUNTABILITIESRecruitmentProvide support to the Sr. HR Business Partner on recruitment efforts including:• Utilize and diligently document recruiting activity in the Applicant Tracking System (UKG) by entering job opportunities and adequately tracking and dispositioning applicants.• Ensure all positions are posted in accordance with Company policy.• Assist with sourcing and interviewing candidates; initiate candidate assessments. Present hiring managers with qualified, pre-screened (interviewed and tested) candidates.• Conduct professional reference checks prior to extending offers.• Expedite background and drug screen process once a verbal offer has been accepted.• Assist in the offer development, approval and extension process. Ensure prompt attention to these requests in order for positions to be filled timely. Coordinate start date with the hiring manager and complete all Company pre-hire requirements.Human Resources Support• Conduct New Hire Orientation when needed by coordinating Teams conference call and delivering the presentation.• Submit IT tickets for employee changes, including new hire, transition, and termination.• Effectively coordinate and conduct the exit interview process. Proactively surface areas of concern to Sr. HRBP.• Prepare the payroll folder for the organization in a timely and accurate manner by coordinating Authorization for Offer packets (AFO) and Payroll Change Forms (i.e. new hires, terms, changes) and related documents, reviewing all documents for completeness, accuracy, and appropriate approvals.• Complete verification of employment requests and respond to unemployment claims.• Perform other duties, special projects and reports as requested in a timely and accurate manner.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or GED is required. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources preferred and three to five years of related experience, i.e. human resources, recruitment, customer service and general office experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Previous experience supporting multi-location and/or California environments is a plus.SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS• Recruiting experience preferred.• Knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) at the intermediate level.• Maturity to manage a large volume of highly confidential information.• Excellent teamwork skills and someone who can redirect activities to help others as needed.• Demonstrated telephone etiquette and professionalism.• Effective verbal and written communication skills.• Strong attention to detail skills, organizational skills and ability to multi-task.• Efficient numeric & data entry skills with good quality.• Knowledge of basic labor, compliance and employment regulations regarding Federal, State laws, as well as Company policies and procedures.• Business acumen and an understanding of Company business and position requirements in order to pre-screen and select applicants to be forwarded on to the Hiring Manager.What we offer our team members:• A great benefits package that includes (but is not limited to) Medical/ Dental/ Vision, 401(k)/Roth plan with matching, Healthcare Savings Accounts.• Educational Assistance (Tuition Reimbursement).• Ongoing training throughout your employment with opportunities to participate in professional and personal development programs.• A strong focus on giving back to our communities through philanthropic opportunities.• Great culture and opportunities for growth and advancement.XTG is part of the TTI Family of Companies.
