IT Service Delivery Analyst

Noble Drilling

This is a Full-time position in Sugar Land, TX posted July 30, 2021.


The IT Service Delivery Analyst holds a lead role in the governance function covering the entire portfolio of IT services.

The role focuses on the standardization and continual service improvement of all delivered IT services.

The role has a strong focus on the management of third-party service providers but will also govern portions of service delivery rendered by internal staff.

The role has ownership of service design and quality of service delivery along with monitoring and reporting on the efficacy of IT service delivery.

The role ensures maximum value is returned from Noble’s investment in IT service delivery


• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or other IT related fields preferred.

• Skillset must include working knowledge of core IT system design, functionality and support covering both on-premise and public cloud

• 2+ years of IT service design, architecture, development and/or implementation experience

• 5+ years of experience in the IT field with specific knowledge of Microsoft Windows server operating systems and supporting software; Active Directory; System Monitoring, Performance Management; and Cloud based technologies with integration to on-premise technology.

• Experience in direct customer relations with specific focus on the integration of business needs and technology is a plus

• Familiarity with ITIL and the implementation thereof

• Project Management experience and skills, PMP certification would be a plus.

• Ability to work effectively across and within diverse teams.

• Excellent facilitation, verbal and written (formal and technical) communication skills with a good.

command of the English language; Ability to effectively articulate and present complex concepts to senior IT, business management, and end users.

• Strong execution skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure, deliver quality results within standards and meet deadlines.

• Strong customer service skills.

• Strong analytical and organizational skills with an attention to detail.

• Experience using MS Office Suite including Access, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio, Project and Outlook.

• Travel is minimal to the job function (approximately 10% or less, domestic, international, & offshore).

• Ability to work after office hours and on-call as required.


• Develop, mature and provide assurance of adherence to the governance framework for IT service delivery

o Identification, documentation, continual improvement and QA/QC of all IT service delivery processes

• Participating role in the design of new IT services

o Policies, procedures and QA/QC processes

• Development and delivery of reporting function related to IT service delivery

• Capacity management and forecasting related to IT service delivery

• Clearly communicate any issues, plans and solutions from both a business perspective and a technical perspective

• Coordinating role in IT service initiatives and projects as assigned including 1) business case development; 2) task level plan development; 3) execution of initiatives, 4) coordination between teams for delivery, and 5) status and closure reporting.

• Maintain familiarity with new capabilities of emerging/developing technologies and methods of service delivery to provide input on planning efforts

• Oversee and/or assist with internal processes, periodic audits, assessments, and governance control methodology.

• Coach/mentor IT staff and business users relating to the governance of IT service delivery

Vendor Management

• Be familiar with internal policies, regulations and professional standards (e.g.

Administrative Policy Manual and Code of Conduct) to assure adherence

• Understand the organization’s business processes, systems/network platforms and infrastructure architecture, and participate in their development and architecture from the perspective of service delivery and supportability

• Interface with vendors and Noble Drilling project teams to assure system integration and development follows best practices

• Develop/execute on vendor performance reporting methodology and metrics

• Maintain relationships between IT, Stakeholders, and Third-Party integrators
