Position Summary:

The Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) will support the FP&A Manager with functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role the analyst will provide data and analysis to help integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, solve complex issues within functional area of responsibility, support long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy.

Major Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

  • Provide data and analysis for the FP&A Manager as well as business leaders to drive key business initiatives and effectively analyze and report the financial impact on the business.

  • Analyze and organize data appropriately by anticipating the internal clients’ expectations.

  • Ensure the accuracy of the organization’s financial results by coordinating close cycle activities with Accounting and recognizing and preventing misrepresentation, concealment, or omission of information.

  • Provide analytical support for business planning and development of short and long-range financial and business plans.

  • Ensure planning cycle and reporting requirement deadlines are met by coordinating across multiple functions to gather, organize, and prepare required data/information within established timelines.

  • Performs additional duties and projects as assigned.

  • Consistent regular scheduled attendance is considered an essential function of this job.

Education Required: Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred.

Required or Acceptable Job-Related Experience:  Minimum 1 year. Finance background, SAP experience desired; Financial modeling expertise a plus

Technical/Other Skills Required:  Excellent verbal and written communications skills; Ability to prioritize multiple tasks; High level of curiosity; Analytical thinker with an ability to conduct research and data analysis; Professionalism with a high level of discretion.
