The reporting needs include:Producing recurring reports for health plans/carriers related to claims data, encounter data, and referrals.Creating ad-hoc reports requested by internal Managed Care staff as well as external customers.Providing analytical support to Utilization Management, Claims, Compliance, Enrollment, Member Services, and Sales.Partnering with Business Intelligence and Population Health to improve analytical data structure and reporting.Qualifications:Report Writer (Clarity)Location: Pearland Business OfficeDepartment: Gen Admin System SupportJob Type: Full TimeEDUCATION REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS (A = basics; B = preferred)EducationA.Bachelor’s degree in a technical area or 4 years equivalent work experienceB.

Master’s degree in related fieldExperienceA.3+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or managed healthcareDemonstrated initiative and problem solving skills3+ years of experience in report writing experience (Epic Clarity, Crystal Report, Business Objects, SQL)B.4-6 years’ experience in data analysis, reporting, or managed healthcareExperience in the healthcare industry with understanding of data in healthcare organizations (including claims data, referrals data, Medicare Advantage, capitated payment models)LicensesA.Valid Texas Driver’s LicenseB.Special SkillsCertificationA.A.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft ExcelExperience with Epic Clarity and SQLExperience writing, debugging, and documenting complex queries against relational databases.B.B.Knowledge of Crystal reports, Microsoft Access, or SSRSEpic ClarityOtherA.Proven communication, presentation, project management, problem solving and technical skills are also required.Ability to assume more than one role on the team,and must have the ability to travel occasionallyB.
