Loan Processor

Kforce Finance and Accounting

This is a Contract position in Dallas, TX posted August 22, 2021.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Kforce has a client in Pittsburgh, PA that is seeking a Loan Processor.

The Loan Processor will be responsible for reviewing new loan application requests to ensure that all required forms and/or documentation have been provided by the borrower.

Duties of the Loan Processor include: Executes routine and complex transactions/processes utilizing standard procedures; May have specific responsibility for one or multiple specialized products or functional areas Loan Processor processes and/or reconciles routine and complex transactions of varying risk and financial value in accordance with established policies and procedures; Identifies and addresses exceptions and may resolve escalated items Partners internally with service partners to route calls, documents or other action items to complete transactions Reviews transactions and related documents and verifies work processes to ensure completeness, accuracy and conformance to established service levels and applicable policies and procedures May review reports to identify exceptions, monitor quality and ensure compliance; May participate in risk mitigation activities Loan Processor works in a team environment gathering outstanding conditions and upon receipt performs analysis and prepares files for closing documents; Provides support to the Lending Officer, underwriting and documentation and closing departments; Assists supervisor and underwriting area in pipeline planning Job Requirements: REQUIREMENTS: High School diploma and Bachelor’s degree in related technical field or equivalent education/experience 2 to 4 years of loan processing experience within a banking company or related financial institution required Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of Bank personnel and outside agencies in both verbalwritten form Computer literate with experience using, Word and industry standard software Ability to work under deadlines Good organization and planning skills Ability to pay close attention to detail Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
