The Managing Broker for Colorado works intimately with Managing Broker colleagues and reports to the Chief Broker Officer.

The Managing Broker plays a key role in implementing strategies, goals and objectives to achieve Side’s overall corporate vision but more specifically the Brokerage vision, agent services, transaction management and compliance.

Demonstrating high proficiency in management of top-producing residential agents and their teams, the Managing Broker oversees all Brokerage activity in Colorado.

The Managing Broker provides leadership to agents as well as support staff to ensure a cohesively run brokerage that achieves landmarks in a timely and professional manner, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and laws throughout. 

Legal Compliance Remain current on Colorado Division of Real Estate regulations, changes in Real Estate law and local housing laws and ordinances and communicates changes and updates to agents and support staff and an orderly and distributable fashion.

Attend continuing education and legal seminars and present/document takeaways for distribution to agents and support staff.

Ensure membership and compliance with all multiple listing services and Realtor associations in each area where we have agents.

Run education programs for agents as well as employees.

Lead all aspects of the audit workflow and transaction management in collaboration with the audit and compliance departments.

Support Brokerage Operations Attend Colorado Division of Real Estate, MLS and Local Board events represent Side / Agents Attend State legal updates and brokerage updates specifically put on by Colorado Division of Real Estate and other Local Boards.

Be a specialist and resource to the internal team and agents on real estate industry, regulation, etc.

Provide support to the sales team to attract top agents and participate in Discovery Days and Launch Kickoffs.

Agent Success First point of contact for agents with legal and ethical questions including under 12 hour response time.

On-call for all agent needs for transactions, document preparation, client strategy.

Keep agents up to date on legal updates / changes.

Responsible for addressing agent concerns, liaison as needed between departments with regard to industry requirements, transaction rules, and point of sale requirements.

Love for assisting agents through transactions Keen sense of compliance and desire to ensure all agents provide outstanding service Strong legal mind and willingness to remain educated on changes to state and local rules and regulations Having a strong customer service demeanor towards agents and inherent passion to work towards bettering the entire real estate industry 10+ years experience in real estate 5+ years as a managing broker or in a similar role Legal background is a plus
